The Welcome Back Awards is now accepting nominations to honor those who work in the depression community. The Welcome Back Awards was established by Eli Lilly and Co. to recognize outstanding achievements in the fight against depression and the stigma often associated with the illness. Nominations due December 15!

 

We are entering into a festive season. The winter holidays are meant to be times of joy, parties and gatherings with friends and families. But for many people this is a lonely stretch of the year marked by hard memories and unrealized dreams.

 

Seasonal Affective Disorder is characterized by recurrent episodes of depression – usually in late fall and winter – alternating with periods of normal or high mood the rest of the year.
